Mijas gives green light to the first Strategic Trade Plan

Auren, a consultancy firm specialising in commerce, will collaborate and coordinate this plan. To this end, the Commerce Department has already begun work by providing data on the types of commerce in the municipality, as well as the distribution of the commercial areas by the 3 main centres.

The City Council has been working on specific actions, which is why it has carried out this Strategic Trade Plan with the aim of improving all trade in the area.
Mijas continues to promote initiatives and actions for the first time in the municipality with the aim of promoting Tourism and Trade.

Among the topics that will be studied and that are implicit in the Mijas Strategic Trade PlanIn the section entitled "The destination", there are the general lines of action until 2022, an analysis of current products with the possibility of extending them, the performance of the destination management and other improvements. The different funding channels are also being studied. Several groups of researchers from the Faculty of Tourism of the UMA will be responsible for carrying out the plan.
