Last April the consultant for Marketing AcciónMK, carried out a Market research on employment opportunities in the maritime field. Within this Market research two methodologies have been carried out, one of which consisted of a Focus Group and the other in the realisation of semi-structured interviews that were carried out among the participants in the presentations of Employability Blue which organises the UMA and the Andalusia Maritime Cluster. These two tools form part of the methodology used to produce the final report of the employment potential study, which ActionMK presented this May.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term Focus GroupWe define it as a working method that consists of collecting information for a research project. To collect the information, a small group of people (between 6-12) is brought together to answer questions and generate a conversation/debate around a specific topic and finally collect a series of conclusions.
The Blue Job Days are carried out in the Centres of the UMAThe talks are given by professionals from different fields of knowledge, who speak from their experience about the opportunities of this project. Attendance to this type of lectures is free until full capacity is reached.
With this project the UMA wants students to learn first-hand about the opportunities of each degree and the professional experiences of workers in each sector.
