On 7 July ActionMK attended the 1st Edition of the Costa del Sol Tourism Award for Entrepreneurial Tourism Initiatives organised by La Malaga Provincial Council, Costa del Sol Malaga Tourism Hub y UNICAJA Foundation. The event was inaugurated by the President of the Diputación de Málaga, Elias Bendodo.
This was followed by a conference "Grand Challenges in the Tourism Industry, Horizon 20-20". by Carlos Vogeler, Executive Director of Member Relations of the World Tourism Organisation. The Director General of Tourism and Planning of the Costa del Sol, Arturo Bernal presented this event. first edition of the Costa del Sol Award for Entrepreneurial Tourism Initiatives.
Later in the day, several speakers addressed the "Keys to Innovation in the 21st Century Tourism Industry".Pedro Barrionuevo, Director of Economic Development of Tourism and Planning Costa del Sol; Fernando de Pablo, President of Segitur; Tomeu Bennasar, CEO of Logitravel; Ignacio Maluquer, CEO of StarLite.
And to conclude, all the speakers gathered around a round table to discuss the theme "Innovation, Diversification, Internationalisation, Digital Transformation and Sustainability as keys to the 21st Century Tourism Industry"..
